Ionia girls varsity soccer traveled to Ovid Elsie for the Marauder invitational tournament. In the opening round Ionia was defeated 5-0 against Ovid Elsie.
Kelila Rustin had 2 shots on goal and Tessa Masengale played well in the center of the field. Kaylynn Doty recorded 8 saves on the game.
Ionia would play back to back and face off vs Ithaca in the second leg of the tournament.
