Ionia Varsity Wrestling vs. Lowell Team Districts

Ionia had the opportunity to host team districts tonight against #1 ranked Lowell and #8 ranked Hastings. Ionia drew Lowell to wrestle in the 1st round of districts; we lost to Lowell 74-6. Senior Chris Smith at heavy weight came in with a big win with a 2nd period pin. With that loss, it brings Ionia's dual season to an end with a record of 12 wins and 10 losses. Ionia will travel to Hastings this Saturday to compete in the individual districts. Wrestling starts at 9:30am!
