The bulldogs won their final regular season game tonight against Godfrey-Lee 58-18. All players contributed tonight and it was a team effort win. Leading scorer was Aubree White with 14 points, 15 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals. Emma White had 13 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists. Avery Hoppough has 8 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 assist. Lexie Daugherty had 6 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Alexa Barna had 5 points and 2 rebounds. Josie Lee had 4 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Tori Banks had 2 points, 3 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 assist. Kennedi McDiarmid had 2 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. The bulldogs had a great team effort tonight and came out with a win tonight against Fowlerville 58-42. It was a great atmosphere celebrating our youth night and seniors last home game. Leading scorer was Lexie Daugherty with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. She went 8 for 8 from the free throw line. Aubree White had 15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. The Varsity girls basketball team traveled to Hastings tonight and came home with a nice victory. Beating Hastings 49-37. Leading the bulldogs with leadership on both ends of the floor was Junior Aubree White with 19 points. She was 10 for 14 from the free throw line. She also had 7 rebounds, 3 steals and an assist. Freshman Logan Thomas added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Senior Emma White played big in the middle for us and added 7 points, 2 rebounds and an assist. Freshman Avery Hoppough added 4 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Sophomore Tessa Lemke had 4 points and 2 rebounds. Sophomore Josie Lee chipped an a free throw and played great on the defensive end with 2 steals. The bulldogs are now 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the league. They take the floor again at home on Friday, January 5th against Olivet playing at 5:30 p.m.

The Ionia girls opened up league play today with an exciting win over Eaton Rapids 39-35. They struggled in the first half but fought back. Freshman Logan Thomas hit a 3 pointer with 1:32 left to tie the game. Junior Lexi Daugherty made a bucket to put us up by 2 then Junior Aubree White went to the free throw line sinking them both putting us up by 4. Leading scorer was Aubree White with 14 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Junior Lexi Daugherty had 10 points, 4 steals and 2 assists. Freshman Logan Thomas had 6 points, 3 assists and 3 rebounds. Sophomore Tessa Lemke had 5 points, 5 big rebounds in the 4th quarter. Senior Emma White had 2 points, and battling hard pulling down 5 rebounds. She also had 2 steals. Sophomore Josie Lee brought a spark and contributed with 2 points. The bulldogs are now 2-0. They are 1-0 in the league. They play home next Tuesday, December 12 against St. John's at 6:00.

The girls varsity basketball team opened their season with a win. They defeated the Everett Vikings 63-19. It was a balanced attack. Nine of the thirteen girls scored. Freshman Logan Thomas had 5 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Freshman Bella Delgado chipped in 4 points and had 3 rebounds. Senior Lily Reams had 2 points and 2 rebounds. Sophomore Josie Lee had 2 points and 2 steals. The bulldogs will take the floor again this Friday, December 8 at 5:30 pm against the Greyhounds of Eaton Rapids, our first conference game.
