LAKEWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL: 40
Tonight the Bulldogs hosted Lakewood for the second match up of the year. The team started off patient on offense but was unable to hit some shots. At the end of the first Ionia was down 8-16. The team started off slow in the third and Lakewood was able to build on their lead. The final score was Lakewood 40 and Ionia 26. Leading scorers were Bryce Shattuck with 7 points and Aiden Washington with 7 points. Other scorers were Bryce Schmid with 6, Carson Schmid with 3, and Cody Waterman with 3. The team is now 1-5 on the season. Their next game is Monday, Dec. 4 at Eaton Rapids.
